Purchasing
Our purchasing team is responsible for the procurement of high-quality products such as spare parts, stores, lubricants, ropes, paints, chemicals and gases, as well as services. The team is committed to securing favorable procurement agreements and optimizing the timing of purchases. It coordinates with relevant parties to arrange forwarding of requested orders to achieve their timely and cost-effective delivery to ports worldwide, confirms delivery completion onboard, and diligently evaluates suppliers and forwarders based on service quality and efficiency.
HSQE
Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental protection are at the heart of our management system. We proactively identify and manage risks, ensuring the safe and environmentally sound operation of the fleet. Our team continuously improves our IMS through KPI assessment, policy reviews and internal audits. Metis is committed to providing a secure working environment under the ISPS Code and complies with ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
Operations
Our operations department coordinates the day-to-day interaction between vessels, masters, charterers, agents, and shore-based teams for the efficient and reliable worldwide transportation of cargoes. Our experienced team prioritizes the meticulous planning and execution of voyages, cargo operations, bunkering management and risk mitigation by providing around-the-clock support to our fleet. In collaboration with our marine and technical teams, inspection, maintenance and certification are planned and executed to maintain operational and commercial status.
